The ROAR DAY 2022 Schedule of events will be made available here as the event gets closer and the Schedule becomes clearer.
As in 2021, those who finish the three legs of the triathlon will receive a medal for their efforts! Check out last year's medal, below right! AND all competitors will be given a FREE stubby/drink bottle holder (made from YOWIE fur!), for their efforts. (For others attending the event, the stubby holder can be purchased on the day for $10. Pre-ROAR Paddle Upskill Session Saturday 15th October 2022 From $75.00
A 2-hour training program at Mt Crawford is being offered exclusively for registered competitors of ROAR Barossa 2022.
The Paddle Upskill Session is a knowledge and skills-based training course designed to provide a familiarisation and/or introduction for people who are kayaking in ROAR Barossa 2022.
The course programme is conducted by fully accredited Paddle SA instructors and is aimed at giving you the kayaking confidence to enjoy the event. You will be shown basic paddle strokes for moving your craft safely and efficiently and have time to practice on-land before heading out on the water for a practice on the official kayaking race course.
Whether you are a beginner or it's been a while, don't worry as the course will be tailored to individual needs. A variety of kayaking watercraft will be available so that you can develop your paddle efficiency ahead of race day.

THINGS TO KNOW
If you're participating and doing the bike run, be aware that your helmet must meet Australian quality standards.
Also, for Kayaking, you must wear a 'personal flotation device' to this standard: AS 50 or AS 50S.
